New Mexico home schooling laws and regulations cannot be summarized in a short informational page or overview. You can view the Home School Operators Procedure Manual - Revised 5/03 at the New Mexico Public Education Department and it can be downloaded as a PDF or a Word document

There is also an  onilne notification form.

 

As of June, 2001, standardized tests are no longer be required of homeschoolers in New Mexico. The only paperwork required is filing a notice of intent with the school district superintendent within 30 days of establishing the home school and by April 1 of each subsequent year.
